Vice champion Inter Milan has booked an easy home win against relegation candidate Spezia. The Nerazzurri took the lead before half-time thanks to Lautaro Martinez, in the second half Hakan Calhanoglu and Joaquin Correa recorded the 3-0 final score.
Inter have had an excellent start to the new season of Serie A with 6 out of 6. Simone Inzaghi’s team dominated against Spezia, but it still waited a while for the opening goal.
After half an hour it was still hit. Lukaku finished perfectly until Lautaro Martinez who finished wonderfully: 1-0. As usual, San Siro feasted on his favorite striker duo.
Shortly before half-time, Lukaku almost doubled the score with a header, but he saw the leather shatter on the crossbar.
After the break, Inter remained very dominant and Calhanoglu quickly made it 2-0. After that, all tension in the match was gone. Substitute Joaquin Correa eventually increased the score a bit.
Inter will thus climb to the lead in the Serie A, but can still be joined tomorrow by Juventus, AC Milan and AS Roma, among others.
